Hi from Perth, Australia

Iโ€™m a permaculturist here in Western Australia, but originally from S. California with plans to set up a permaculture community in Northern Spain. Iโ€™m keen to meet other permaculturists who share the principales: Earth Care. People Care, Fair Share. Iโ€™m currently renting but have partially de-paved the backyard for growing, added drain water and other systems and continue to test permaculture concepts.

Hey, nice to see a permaculturist here, welcome! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Sorry I didn't say hi sooner

I'd imagine all 3 of those places have somewhat similar climates, depending on whereabouts you are, no? Curious how much adapting it took for you to get used to growing in Aussie.

I'll admit I've definitely had the recurring urge to yolo it and move from Arizona down there ๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿ˜‚

And what does the de-paving involve, like a jackhammer and just a lot of elbow grease? I love the de-paving movement, I just never thought about what it would actually take to bust up a slab!
