California coastal mountains

I, Korbatojn, am a noob here ๐Ÿฅน.
โ…” of an acre of magnificent natural soil, some under redwoods, and some under our home.
This was indigenous land 150 years ago, and is wonderously fertile. I am planting containerized Salvia Guar, and other native plants to attract bees and hummingbirds ๐Ÿค— Hello to all ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Korbatojn, welcome in! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Looks like you've got a gorgeous space, I'm jealous of the rain and rich soil you've got ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Is that salvia edible? I've got some variety growing, and I'm not sure what it is but the leaves taste crazy strong!

I know that white flower is not evening primrose, but it reminds me of it! What is it? (primrose attached)

Hi Korbatojn, welcome! Looks like you have some great things growing - and like LearnDirt already mentioned, I'm also jealous of the soil / rain that you are getting in your area. What other types of native plants are you growing?

Starting to add bee and hummingbird friendly plants. Also bought LearnDirts raised bed construction plans ๐Ÿ‘

Hey thanks for your support by the way, Korbatojn! I knew that quite a few gardeners had built them from the plans already, but hadn't seen any out in the wild until last week- when someone sent me photos of their build. It was so freakin' cool to see them in action ๐Ÿฅน

They said everything went really smooth, but if you run into any snags just let me know. I get second-hand excited when folks start new beds and new gardens ๐Ÿ˜ hope yours is awesome!
